BDPA’s premier annual technology conference, now in it's 42nd year, brings the best and brightest diverse talent together to discover the latest in technology and innovation. Through education, mentoring, business networking, immersive experiences, scholarships and jobs, the BDPA annual technology conference gives professionals, executives, entrepreneurs and students an IT pathway from the classroom to the boardroom andpromotes innovation, technical skills, business savvy and personal growth.
The most notable of our programs is the Student Information Technology Education & Scholarship (SITES) Program for high school members. It starts in local cities with a series of hands-on training, computer camps and mentoring. Students from across the country match IT skills, competing for college scholarships. Our College Student Internship Program partners corporate sponsors with members majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an IT-related curriculum. Academic courses are combined with practical on-the-job experience to help prepare for immediate employment and advancement. BDPA offers many positive role models who are willing to help you become the next generation of IT professionals and executives, as well as make some great new friends. Additionally, you will acquire important business skills that add to your potential to advance, such as:
